TransLT – new application by 3D Space and launch of new versions TopoLT 10.0 and ProfLT 10.0

CADWARE Engineering and 3D Space announce the launch of TransLT application for coordinate transformations between two coordinate systems and the launch of new versions TopoLT 10 and ProfLT 10.

TransLT is designed to calculate the transformation parameters and the transformation of coordinates between two coordinates systems is a fast and practical way. The software is aimed at specialists who use GPS technology to perform geodetic works. Find out more and download the trial version from here.

The new version of TopoLT 10.0 is adapted to run on the latest versions of CAD applications (BricsCAD v10, ProgeCAD 2010, ZWCAD 2010). In addition, the existing functions have been improved, the loading process has been optimized and new functions have been added. Please find more information and the trial version here.

ProfLT 10.0 includes many enhancemets for the existing functions and is now compatibile with the latest CAD platforms (BricsCAD v10, ProgeCAD 2010, ZWCAD 2010). Read more information and download the trial version here.

New versions 10.1 for TopoLT & ProfLT applications and new version 1.1 for TransLT!

Some of the new features introduced in ProfLT and TopoLT:

  • Adapted to work on Windows 64 bit, AutoCAD 2010 and 2011 versions on 64 bit.
  • In TopoLT was introduced a new command to restore the links of a parcel with its definition texts.
  • Also in TopoLT was introduced the possibility to draw polygons, paths or points in Google Earth with the assistance of the software TransLT.

In the new version TransLT 1.1 we introduced the following:

  • The possiblity to draw polygons, paths or points in Google Earth.
  • The software was adapted for TopoLT to draw entities from AutoCAD or IntelliCAD in Google Earth.
  • The option to reverse the colums in the table containing the input data from “Transformations in steps” section.
  • Lines with information (lines that do not represent coordinates) from coordinates files are ignored in the calculation of tables.
  • Fixed an error regarding the incorrect saving of coordinates from table with output data from section “Transformation in steps” in the case of geographic coordinates.

The customers who acquired the 9.0 and 10.0 cand download and install for free the new versions.

Download for free the new versions and test for 30 days.

New versions 10.2 for TopoLT&ProfLT and new version 1.2.1 for TransLT

Some of the new features introduced in version 10.2 for ProfLT and TopoLT:

  • The files used for configuration are also searched on the path were the program is installed;
  • When using command PUR, if errors occur when calculating polylines areas then through redialing the command errors are avoided. Errors are determined by the way command AREA functions in AutoCAD 2011 in the case of polylines that contain curves that intersect each other.
  • Changing command GEdraw to work properly with TransLT 1.2.

In the new versions TransLT 1.2 and 1.2.1 were introduced new functions and some functions were improved:

  • It was introduced the possibility to upload or download, through internet, transformation models from the database kept on Uploading or downloading the models can be also done directly from TransLT Models page.
  • Files with extension .mtr containing transformation models can de opened directly from Windows Explorer.
  • It was changed the format of files .mtr, files with the precedent format are still accepted.
  • The constant coefficients used at oblique stereographic projection are now used when introducing projection parameters. In precedent versions those were introduced at general options and when using this projection several times with different sets of constant coefficients it was not possible to do the differentiation.
  • Drawings for Google Earth can also be saved in a format compressed with the extension kmz.
  • For graphical entities that are drawn in Google Earth there is possible to introduce additional information (including a link to a web page) that will be posted in the description balloon of the entity from Google Earth.
  • It was introduced the possibility to choose the order of geographic coordinates (φ, λ) from tables and files.
  • Transformation accuracy has been added to the model transformation properties and in the database on the Internet.
  • At reading information from the EPSG database were added the following information: CRS Scope, Remarks and Information Source.
  • It was added the possibility to copy the displayed informations about one CRS or about an operation with coordinates.
  • In the Google Earth drawing window was added the opportunity to reverse the coordinates from table.
  • Remove error at reading negative angles of the form -0°00’1.0″.
  • Remove error at reading geographic coordinates with sign N,E,S,W from .txt files.

CADWARE Engineering launches international web platform

CADWARE Engineering launches web platform dedicated to users from survey, land register and land measurement fields, a natural step in promoting and distributing TopoLT application internationally.

The web platform developed by CADWARE Engineering is intended for both resellers and end-users, allowing fast and friendly access to product information, learning resources, online shop and discussion forum where users can post their experiences and opinions.

“We consider it necessary for this communication and trading instrument to exist, because we wish to have a close and prompt relation with the users of 3D Space applications, and in addition we align ourselves with our external partners who distribute the products”, said Niculae ION, Managing Partner at CADWARE Engineering.

The launch of platform is accompanied by the release of the new versions TopoLT 10.3, ProfLT 10.3 and TransLT 2.0. The release of the new versions follows the developer’s strategy to constantly offer new functionalities and improvements to existing ones, and in the same time ensure the compatibility with a large number of CAD platforms and with the newest versions of these applications.

“Our efforts have concentrated on updating the existing applications, by launching 10.3 version for TopoLT and ProfLT and by developing the latest application in this suite, TransLT 2.0. The new version TransLT 2.0, besides major changes to existing functionalities, we added new projection methods and we included the latest updates from ESPG database” said Cristinel BUJOR, General Manager at 3D Space.

Currently, the license distribution is provided by CADWARE Engineering, while the producer 3D Space is continuing to research and develop the applications.
