The page is defined by the longitudinal or cross profiles for which this command is applied. If this command is applied for longitudinal profiles then the page is analyzed from configuration ProfCfg - Pages Tab - Longitudinal profile page and if this command is applied for cross profiles then the page is analyzed from ProfCfg - Pages Tab - Cross profile page.

If the ordering of the profiles is used from the ProfCfg - General Tab - Profile drawing then the selected profiles will be ordered, the description of the criteria linked to the ordering you can find it at this section. If this option is used then the profiles will be placed in a list in the order of their selection. If you wish to change the order of drawing then you have at your disposal two buttons to change the position of a profile in the list.

Options

Start page number

Starting from this number the pages will be numbered, the number of the page will be placed in the block with the cassette at the allocated attribute if the block and the attribute are defined at the configuration ProfCfg - Pages Tab.

Number of columns

It sets the number of columns in which the page is split. For the value 1 it will be taken in consideration the whole page.

Number of rows

It sets the number of rows in which the page is split. For the value 0 the splitting in rows of the page won't be considered.

Vertical profile distance

It sets how much free space will be let between vertical profiles when there are no defined rows. Half of the distance is used in order to leave a space between the profile and the top and bottom margins of the border.

Horizontal profile distance

It sets how much horizontal free space will be let. Half of the distance is used to let a space between the profile and the left and right margins of the border or in the case of using more columns to let a free space between the vertical line that defines a column and a profile.

Profile alignment

It selects the type of alignment of the profiles: to the left, to the right, centered or centered on the connection point. The centering on the connection point is available only in the case of the cross connected profiles. In the case of center alignment for calculating the middle point it isn’t taken in calculation the width of the table header.

Page preview

The profiles are drawn without the texts from the table for rapid visualization. In order to view the space occupied by a profile there are drawn with dotted line the limits of the profile. For the pages it is drawn the limit of the print page with red dotted line.

Buttons

To start the arrangement of the profiles in the page use the button [Arrange]. In order to clean the drawing use the button [Clean]. After finishing the arrangement you can draw profiles in the CAD program by pressing the [Draw] button.

The profile arrangement mode

In the case in which there aren’t defined rows the positioning of the profiles is made starting from the upper left corner of the first column and for the next profiles the distance between profile is applied vertically. If there are defined rows then the profiles will be inserted in the lower side of the row.

When searching for the space available, the superposition is signaled over the space occupied by the cassette, or if the profile exceeds the allocated space in the page, column or in the cell for rows.

    If there wasn’t found space for positioning a profile then the user has the following options:
  1. He continues without changing the profile position – in this case the profile will be inserted in the point of insertion determined.
  2. He cuts the cross profile – the cutting will be made using the length available determined by the program.
  3. He splits the profile into pieces – the splitting will be made on a length available determined by the program.
  4. He places the longitudinal profile on a band – the placing will be made for a width height band available determined by the program.
  5. He positions it manually – the user can choose the profile position by moving the profile with the help of the mouse.
  6. He places in a new page or in a new column or on a new row – according to the position inside of a column or of a row you can choose that a profile to be inserted on the next row, on the next column or on the next page.

Some of the options above can be applied for all the profiles that will be arranged by selecting the “Apply to all” box.

For the inserted profile with the option to continue without changing the profiles position or with the option of manual positioning the space used by it will be blocked for when inserting the next profiles not to exist superposition.

Generally the positioning of the profiles can be made trying to use at maximum the space available from the page border.
