Joins points from left and right side of axis given by the longitudinal profile.
The joining is made with 2D or 3D polylines in according with 3D Plan option set in ProfCfg - General Tab - Plan Description.
The join is made for a single code. If you want to join more than one code you must use MJoinPts command.
This command joins points from cross profiles connected to a longitudinal profile. To use this command you must select a longitudinal profile that has connected cross profiles.
-
The joining is made using the following criteria:
- points are searched in cross profiles order;
- if in consecutive cross profiles there are points with codes selected for joining then ProfLT will draw polylines;
- if in the next cross profile there is no point with the specified code then the polyline will be disrupted and will start again if there are points in the next cross profiles;
- if in one side of a cross profile there are identified more than one point with the same code then points will be joined with parallel lines;
- point joining is made simultaneously on both sides.
The obtained polylines are created on the current drawing.
Recommendation: When taking measurements from the field, there is no need to use distinct codes for left and right side of the axis because ProfLT makes this identification.
