Creates cross profile through the 3D model connected to a longitudinal profile.
If the 3D model wasn’t selected with the command SelM3D SelM3D then it is asked to select the 3D model.
To connect the cross profiles it is asked to select the longitudinal profile to which they will connect. In order not to exist differences on the elevations in the connection point it is recommended that the longitudinal profile to be obtained by projecting it on the save 3D model using the command MMakePL.

The generating mode of the cross profiles along the longitudinal profile polyline can be:
- InVertex – in this case the cross profiles will be generated in all the vertexes of the longitudinal profile polyline. The section lines will be orientated from the left to the right in the walk way on the longitudinal profile. The position of the section line will be calculated from the vertex corresponding to the longitudinal profile polyline in the direction given by the bisecting line of the angle made by the adjacent side.
- OnDistance – the cross profiles are generated along the polyline applying the distance introduced by the user and orientation from the left to the right in the walk mode on the longitudinal profile polyline
- Split – in this case the cross profiles are created by splitting the whole length of the longitudinal profile polyline in a number of parts that will be introduced by the user.
- DivideSegments – in this case the cross profiles are generated in all the vertexes of the longitudinal profile polyline and each segment of the longitudinal profile polyline is split in a number of parts that will be introduced by the user.
For numbering the cross profiles it will ask to introduce the start number.
For the length of the cross profile it asks to introduce the distance on the left and the distance on the right from the axis. The distances can be bigger or equal to 0. In the case in which one of the distances is 0 the profiles will be created on the left or on the right of the axis.
When the connected cross profiles are created, inside of the longitudinal profile segments, the longitudinal profile polyline will be modified by introducing new connection points.
In the case in which a difference in elevation exists in the connection point the error is signaled through a message. In this case the cross profile can not be connected to a longitudinal profile and will be created as a cross independent profile.
