Configuration – Dimensions

In this section, you can set dimensions.

When launching program TopoLT you can set up dimensions that will be used in CAD drawing so that these to correspond to measurement units system and plan scale.

Dimensions’ setting is useful because you do not have to change Dimension Style each time you use dimensions in drawing.

For dimensions’ texts, you can choose font, text’s height, prefix, suffix and decimals’ number. Text’s height will be introduced in mm or in inch, value relative to printed plan.

To make the text visible when there are overlaps with other entities you can choose to fill the background of the text with the background color of the drawing. This option is also useful if you choose to draw the dimension on the line. For this visibility to be possible, the entities with the dimensions must be the last in the drawing order, setting the order can be done using the DrawOrder command.

You can choose that lines and arrows of dimensions not to be drawn. This option is useful in the case of dimensioning parcels from a cadastral plan.

If you are using a different dimensions mode you can give up to this option.
