Configuration – Images
In this section you can set raster images.
These settings are available in case you use command Timg for images transformation (correlation) or
when you use command ChImg to modify images.
When raster images are transformed (correlated) in coordinates you can
make the following changes over these:
-
images
can be saved in one of the following formats: .bmp, .jpg, .pcx, .png, .tga or
.tif;
-
colors format can be change as: White&Black, 16 colors, 16
gray scale, 256 colors, 256 gray scale, medium color quality 16bit, true color
quality 24bit or highest color quality 32bit. Changing will be done only for
decreasing quality color, increasing being pointless;
-
you can choose background color in case that by transforming there will be
new parts in image. Background color is use also to increase processing speed.
During images processing when there is a pixel with background color, it will
be ignored. If you properly choose background color for White&Black images
you can get a faster processing speed.
-
images
can be made transparent when they are reintroduced in CAD drawing (set images
Transparency = On);
-
images can be made unselectable when you start program TopoLT (set
CAD drawing ImageFrame = Off). This option is available only for AutoCAD;
-
images can be framed (Clip) to visualize only the part from image
you are interested in but without cutting from image. The part of image you are
not interested in will be hidden. Framing can be made on maximum border of
constraining points (points that determine the greatest area), on point’s
contour (points that are nearest the image margin) or on corners (through the 4
best-positioned points relative to corners). This option is available only for
AutoCAD;
-
images
can be cut in order to keep from image only the interest zone, cut can be made
on the limit given by minimum and maximum constraining points or outside this
limit with a distance (in case you want to keep from map informations about
graticule, map name, etc.). Cut is useful to eliminate from raster image parts
that don’t present interest achieving in this way both a shrinking of the space
occupied by file and an increase of processing speed when loading the file in
drawing;
Images transformation can be done by following methods: move point
inside image, affine and move points, projective, polynomial conform second
degree or polynomial second degree with 5 terms. You
can find description of transformation formulas at command Timg.
