Configuration - Transformations

In this section you can setup the way in which the coordinate transformations are made when drawing in Google Earth using command GEdraw, when transforming coordinates using command TrCoo and to draw images downloaded from online servers with the WebImg command.

In order to transform coordinates copy the transformation models made with TransLT to "Transformations" folder which is on the path where the program is installed. We recommend using program TransLT, another product of our company, to create your own transformation models. Only files with mtr, mtrs or xml extension created with TransLT are accepted.

Only models that are compatible with drawing in Google Earth are accepted in the list from “Drawing in Google Earth”. The compatible models are those that can achieve coordinate transformation from a projection system (N,E,H) into a geographic system (φ, λ, h) on one of WGS84 or ETRS89 (GRS80) ellipsoids, Prime Meridian Greenwich, regardless the transformation direction. The transformation direction is chosen automatically.

When drawing entities in Google Earth you can attach information that will be viewed in Google Earth in a box (balloon description) when clicking the entity.

All the transformation models existing in the "Transformations" folder are taken to the list from “Coordinate transformations”. Here select the direction so that the initial coordinate system to be identical with the coordinate system of the drawing.
