Polygons

Text color

It sets the color for texts used for polygons labels.

Text opacity

It sets the opacity’s value in percentages. This value specifies how transparent the text is in relation to the underlying image.

Line color

It sets the color of lines used to display polygons.

Line opacity

It sets the opacity’s value in percentages. This value specifies how transparent the line is in relation to the underlying image.

Draw labels

Set if the texts with polygons labels are displayed or not.

Add area to polygon name text

Sets whether the text with the area of the polygon in parentheses is added to the end of the polygon name.

Paths

Text color

It sets texts color used to display the starting and ending labels of the paths.

Text opacity

It sets the opacity’s value in percentages. This value specifies how transparent the text is in relation to the underlying image.

Draw starting and ending labels

It sets if the starting and ending labels of paths are displayed or not.

Icon used on both ends

It picks from list the icon that will be displayed at the ends of the path. The option is available only if labels’ drawing is chosen.

Add length to the the path name text

Sets whether the text with the length of the path in parentheses is added to the end of the path name.

Labels

Adds the text description to the entity name

Sets whether to add entity description text to the entity name.

The range in Kilometers of the eyepoint from the focus point for all labels

This value in kilometers represents the distance from which you will see in Google Earth all the labels (texts) generated by the program. When you look for a label in Google Earth you will see the image of the Earth from this distance.

Folders names that will be created in Google Earth

Measurement units for:

Areas

It selects the measurement unit used for surfaces from the list.

The description of measurement units for areas predefined in the program can be found at The table with area units.

Decimal for areas

The number of decimals for areas is used to write the value of calculated area.

Lengths

It selects the measurement unit used for lengths from the list (the perimeter of polygon or the length of a route).

The description of measurement units for lengths predefined in the program can be found at The table with plain units.

Decimal for lengths

The number of decimals for lengths is used to write the value of the calculated perimeter in the case of a polygon or a calculated length of a route.

Note: These settings are only used at the drawing of table points from Universal Transformations and The window of drawing a polygon (parcel) in Google Earth when the area and the polygon perimeter or route length are calculated.

Corrections to adjust the geographic coordinates

These values are used to correct the geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) of all drawn entities in order to achieve a better positioning of them.

If satellite images from Google Earth are not correctly positioned in geographic coordinates, these values can be used to adjust the position of entities that will be drawn for overlapping as closely as possible. Differences can be determined on Google Earth by extracting coordinates of the source point and the destination point. From the difference of the coordinates of the two points on φ latitude (south-north direction) and on λ longitude (east west direction) you can get these values.

Use these values carefully because in some situations as the one described above they can be helpful but in others errors can occur. To avoid this, it is recommended to check the correctness of the geographic coordinates (φ, λ) calculation and the accuracy of the coordinates calculation.
