Automatically creates a longitudinal profile by indentifying the points after their codes. The identification code of the points from the longitudinal profile can be defined at ProfCfg – General Tab – Automations.

To search the points with the same code that define a longitudinal profile it asks to introduce the start point, the next point (to specify the creation direction), the maximum distance between the points and the angle under which the search is made.

The selecting of the start point and the next point can be made only for the point blocks inserted in the drawing, block defined at ProfCfg – General tab – Point identification.

The searching for points is made inside the circle sector of radius equal with the maximum distance and the angle of the sector equal to the search angle. If more points are found inside the circle sector than the next added point will be the one with the shortest distance.

The obtained polyline will be drawn 2D or 3D depending of how the option Plan 3D was selected from ProfCfg - General tab – Plan description.

After drawing the polyline it asks to introduce the data of the longitudinal profile, the description can be found at the command MakePL.

Attention:: If in the drawing there are inserted point blocks then watch out the name of the block defined at ProfCfg – General Tab – Point Identification to be identical with the name of the inserted blocks.
