The profiles are organized in a list according to the profile type and can be: longitudinal profiles, cross profiles connected and cross profiles not connected (independent).
If the longitudinal profiles have connected cross profiles than these ones are available for preview and can be found as a sublist of profiles attached to the longitudinal profile.
If the preview is made for the cross profiles then the profile list will contain a list with the connected cross profiles and a list with the independent cross profiles.
Selecting a profile from the list of profiles determines the CAD application to display in the drawing window the selected profile if the "Select and focus profile in drawing" button is pressed.
Previewing a profile can be made schematically or by displaying the complete profile (including with the profile as it is defined at configuration). Then when the profile is drawn completely it can be chosen if the profile maximum dimensions are drawn or not. These dimensions are calculated relatively at scale on the profile lengths.
On the profiles, modifications can be made referring to the reference elevation. The modification of a reference elevation of a profile can be made by choosing from the contextual menu, appealed with the right click of the mouse on the selected profile, the reference elevation change option or the come-back to the reference elevation calculated according to the minimum Z. The changings of the reference elevations are confirmed by pressing the [OK] button.
Reference elevation is written with star character for profiles that have reference elevation manually set. Ex. Zref = 130.00*
Note: If in the CAD program the command ProfCfg is used then the changes referring to the configuration are also sent to the preview window.
