AutoPct

       Command line: autopct

           Description: insert automatically graphical points

       TopoLT toolbar:

           Menu: TopoLT » Points » Automatic insertion of graphical points

This command is useful in case we have a drawing that does not contain topographical points or in case a part of the drawing does not contain points.

This command is applied only for entities that are completely inside selection window.

Before starting introducing points it demands the number of point from which numbering begins and the minimum distance for which it is considered that two points are overlapped or that an entity is passing through or near the point.

When this command is applied, the following operations are made:

-   automatically inserts points for all lines, polylines that do not have points at margins, and for circle arcs there are introduced three points;

-   fixes points at the decimals number of coordinates (action performed only if the option “Fixing the coordinates for the newly introduced points at decimal number” from TopoCfg – Section Points is checked);

-   fixes blocks that are inserted in points;

-   fixes polylines’ corners and polylines’ arcs so its pass through points;

-   fixes lines’ margins so its pass through points;

-   fixes circle arcs so its pass through 3 points;

-   breaks lines that are passing near a point, fixes them in margins, and introduces new vertexes for polylines (action performed only if the option “Break the lines and polylines that pass by points” from TopoCfg – Section Points is checked).

In case you work with elevations new points introduced will have the elevation extracted from entities that have Z coordinate (3D polylines, 3D lines, 3DFace, PolygonMesh, PolyFaceMesh, etc.).
