Description: insert new points with elevations calculated by interpolation on a 3D plane defined by 3 points

       TopoLT toolbar:

Menu: TopoLT » Point » Interpolate on 3D plane

By using this command you can introduce new points that have elevation calculated by interpolation on a 3D plane defined by 3 points. 3D plan elevations are extracted from attributes with elevation of points. New points can be introduced inside the triangle or outside it.

If the 3 selected points are collinear then the new point elevation will be calculated by interpolation on the line passing through the first two selected points.

The new point’s code you introduce will consist from the first selected point’s code and the code allocated for graphical points (accordingly to configuration section Points).
