In this section the coordinate operation will modify coordinates using offsetting, inversion, direction changing, etc.
Transformation method
-
Select one of the following methods:
- Longitude rotation - adding an angular value on longitude;
- Vertical Offset - adding a correction on vertical axis;
- Vertical Offset and Slope - adding a correction on vertical axis according to the ellipsoid, the geographic coordinates of evaluated point, the declination in latitude and longitude;
- Geographic 2D offsets - adding angular values on latitude and longitude;
- Geographic 2D with Height Offsets - adding angular values on latitude and longitude and adding geoid undulation on vertical axis ;
- Geographic 3D offsets - adding angular values on latitude and longitude and adding geoid undulation on vertical axis ;
- Geographic 3D to 2D conversion - converting 3D geographic coordinates to 2D by eliminating height (h = 0.0);
- Geographic 2D axis order reversal - inversion of longitude with latitude;
- Geographic 3D axis order change - inversion of longitude with latitude, ellipsoidal altitude remaining unchanged;
- Change of vertical axis direction - changing the direction of the vertical axis and adding a correction on this axis;
- Change of horizontal axes directions - changing the directions of horizontal axes and adding a correction on these axes;
- Change of all axes directions - changing directions for all axes and adding a correction on these axes;
- Change of vertical axis unit - changing the measurement unit of the vertical axis;
- Change of horizontal axes units - changing the measurement unit of the horizontal axis;
- Change of all axes units - changing the measurement unit for all axes;
- Points motion (ellipsoidal) - changing ellipsoidal coordinates from one epoch to another;
- Change zero-tide height to mean-tide height - altitude conversion between two vertical reference systems that use different conventions for treating permanent tides.
Button Load parameters from the EPSG database
It opens The window of loading parameters from the EPSG database. The data taken from an operation of type General offsets is: the method of transformation, the transformation parameters and the direction of the transformation. Information about how the parameters are interpreted in some cases can be found when Accessing the EPSG database.
Transformation direction
It selects the direction in which the transformation will be applied: forward or inverse. The inverse direction is possible for all methods.
Ellipsoid of the horizontal coordinates system
For the method Vertical Offset and Slope introduce the ellipsoid used at this transformation, generally used at this transformation is the GRS80 ellipsoid.
Parameters
Introduce transformation parameters according to the transformation method that you have chosen.
