Commands can be given either by using the buttons from the parameters group box, or by using the contextual menu of the box. This menu shows up when you right-click with the mouse inside any parameters group box but outside the editing boxes of parameter values.

Menu commands / Buttons

Load parameters from file

It loads parameters from a text file. The text file must have the following text lines: parameters name and parameters value ordered in each line with a value.

Save parameters to file

Saves parameters from the box to a text file.

Load from EPSG database

It loads parameters from EPSG database, for details on how to retrieve parameters from the EPSG database see The window of loading parameters from the EPSG database.

Load from coefficients A0,A1,...

You have the possibility to calculate parameters from affine transformation coefficients (A0, A1, A2, B0, B1, B2) only for 2D non-orthogonal affine transformation with 6 parameters. With this command you can visualize in a window the coefficients calculated according to the parameters from the parameters group box. If you introduce new values for the coefficients A0, A1, A2, B0, B1, B2 you can calculate the parameters (translations, rotations, scale factors and non-orthogonal coefficient) from them.

Calculation formulas are presented in the page with Used formulas - The calculation of transformation coefficients.

Invert parameters

It inverts parameters to make the reverse transformation. Parameters inverting is possible only for a part of the parameter transformations. To see for which ones see Supported Transformations and Conversions - Table no.3: Transformations with parameters.

Rename parameters

Introduce parameters name. Parameters name is put as title of the parameters group box.

Copy ... parameters

It copies the following data in Clipboard: parameters number, transformation type, method, parameters name and parameters value.

Paste ... parameters

It inserts the copied parameters in Clipboard. Inserting is accepted only for an equal number of parameters that are in the memory and that are provided by the same type and method of transformation.

Clear parameters

It deletes parameters name and sets the values for all parameters as 0.0. For this operation confirmation is required.
