Recommendation

  • We recommend configuring ProfLT with ProfCfg command before starting a new work session. You can save the configuration in the Default Template [Save in…] button.
  • If you want to customize ProfLT then we recommend, in first place, defining table rows, select code interpretation file and line types file and edit layers file. For this use ProfCfg – Files Tab.
  • We recommend the usage of shx fonts to avoid program overload. These fonts are located at the end of the font selection list.
  • We recommend to select from the beginning the measurement system (meters/feet). To change between different measurement system use ProfCfg - Units Tab.
  • To select a longitudinal or cross profile you can use its label, marker or polyline.
  • If a profile is defined by a 3D polyline and there are points in its vertex then ProfLT will use the elevation from the point attribute. If you want to use the 3D polyline elevations then you must delete the points from the drawing.
  • You can set the name of a profile using letters. The name of a longitudinal profile can be, for example, PL1, PL2 and for cross profile PT1, PT2. If the name contains letters the number from the name will be incremented.
  • If you want to modify the reference elevation for a profile then you must use profile preview window. You can access these windows by PrevPL or PrevPT commands.
