Command line: RecalcArea

           Description: recalculate areas for polylines and change the text labels with the new area

Using this command you can recalculate polylines areas. The area labels text are changed with the new calculated areas. If selected polylines don’t have assigned area labels then it is required manual selection of these texts and the link between polyline and text is rebuilt. By using commands Detach, MDetas or Arr the link between polyline and text is made by the program.

In the end command displays the number of exchanged texts.

In case that, after detachment, resulting surfaces were modified use this command to change the area label. For example, if after detachments it is used command AutoPct, command that fixes polyline vertexes to the number of digits assigned to coordinates, then polylines areas will be changed and that new areas need to be recalculated and text labels to be changed.

 

We recommend to use this command after detachments and introducing new points.
